Swinton Lock Activity Centre is looking to recruit a Children and Young People’s Coordinator.

This is a unique opportunity to make a positive contribution to the children and young people’s work that we undertake in the centre.

The successful applicant will need to be dynamic with great people skills and significant youth work experience and a thorough understanding of safeguarding.  They will be overseeing our Re-engagement programme, Children in Need work, Ignite project and co-ordinate our new youth club sessions funded by the Violence Reduction Unit.

They will work effectively and robustly within our staffing team to ensure we reach the outcomes of the different pieces of work and strive to move each programme forward.

It is essential that they have a flexible approach to be able to work as part of a team or alone and be willing to undertake further training as and when required.
