New Post – Vulnerable Adults Assistant – Deadline Extended

Swinton Lock Activity Centre is looking to recruit a Vulnerable Adults Assistant to work alongside the Vulnerable Adults Manager as part of the New Dawn Project.

This is a unique opportunity to make a positive contribution to improve the lives of vulnerable adults including those that suffer the ongoing effects of trauma caused by historic CSE/CSA domestic violence and childhood trauma

The successful applicant will be required to give practical and emotional support in an individual, needs led way. They will be compassionate , empathetic and understanding of adults with multiple complex issues.

They will work effectively and robustly with other agencies whilst advocating on behalf of the client for the best outcomes . It Is essential that they have a willing and flexible approach to be able to work as part of a team or alone and be willing to undertake further training as and when required.

Reference VAA
Salary – £19000 pro-rata (£10640 per annum)
Location – Swinton Lock Activity Centre, Dun Street, Swinton, S64 8AN
Hours and Work Pattern – 21 hours per week on average (may include evenings/weekends).
Terms of Employment – Fixed Term appointment for 3 years
