Swinton Lock Activity Centre is looking to recruit a Housekeeper. This is an opportunity to become a vital part of our team.
The successful applicant will need to be flexible and dynamic with great people skills including children and young people. They will oversee the cleaning of the buildings, studios and from time to time our two boats. In addition they will be responsible for maintaining our kitchen and its 5 star hygiene certificate and provide hot and cold food when required by the centre this includes the delivery of lunches as part of our Re-engagement programme. There may be a need to work on occasions in the evening and weekends.
It is essential that the successful candidate have a flexible approach to be able to work as part of a team or alone and be willing to undertake further training as and when required.
Salary – £7410 per annum for 15 hours per week.
Location – Swinton Lock Activity Centre, Dun Street, Swinton, S64 8AN
Hours and Work Pattern – 15 hours per week this may include evenings and weekends.
Terms of Employment – 12 months fixed term period, however this post has been in existence for a number of years and therefore whilst not guaranteed it is expected to continue after the 12 month period.
