The Vulnerable Adults service is our new National Lottery Community Fund project which has been developed from our previous Adult Post Abuse Service Project that was set up in 2015 in the wake of the Jay report. This new project whilst still supporting historic victims of child sexual exploitation/abuse and domestic abuse, also now covers other vulnerable adults experiencing difficulties.
The project offers an extensive range of support for clients which include:
- 1-1 Support
- Advocacy
- Group work
- Therapeutic Creative Sessions
- Signposting to other services
Referrals come via other statutory and voluntary agencies as well as self referral. If you wish to enquire about the service please email our Vulnerable Adults Manager, Kathryn Kelwick kathrynkelwick@swintonlock.org
